Michael Schumacher Jr that is

Michael Schumacher's son Mick has followed into his father's footsteps, taking part in his first karting race in Spain.
The nine-year-old raced in Sils, Girona, which hosted a round of the Open RACC championship.
Mick used his mother's last name - Betsch - in order to try to go unnoticed on his race debut. However, he was wearing a helmet with a design very similar to his father's, except painted blue instead of red.
Bild magazine reports Mick travelled to Spain with his grandfather Rolf. The young Schumacher finished eighth and tenth in the races.
Seven-time champion Schumacher had said in the past that he would prefer if his son did not follow into his footsteps.
"I would prefer he plays golf or tennis or something like that," Schumacher said back in 2005. "It's pretty tough to imagine my little one following in my steps.
"If you think about what you guys would think and do and ask and so on, what pressure he would be under before he gets out of the shadow.
"That's a very heavy burden and I don't see any reason to emphasise to him to get to this. If he has another interest I would be much more happy."

Perhaps it's just a passing interest from son to father. Schummy Snr has made it pretty clear he'd rather steer his boy away from that lifestyle.
but if Jr ends up being really talented and really likes it, you'd think pops will really push his son away from racing?

No.
But this is just his first race. Perhaps it's all just for fun now. He's only 9!

I doubt Schumi could put up with his emo ways...
I don't think even flavio could put up with alonso's emo ways much longer.

edit: confirmed, FA Kart chassis
Mick's finishing orders:
race 1: 10th of 20 (started 7th)[attachment=19:Cursa_1.pdf]
race 2: 8th of 20 (started 12th)[attachment=20:Cursa_2.pdf]
i guess it is also worth mentioning that schumi is a majority shareholder of Tony Kart, who manufacture the FA Kart chassis.
