Well there are 2 ways in TX to do it.

Take the written test, and do the riding portion aftewards.
or take a riding class, and just take the written test afterwards.

They provide the bike at the classes that I attended.

My motorcycle buddy told me just the other day that all the motorcycle classes around town are pretty much filled up. The reason being rising gas prices.

I've thought about getting the new Ninja 250, but my best friend has a Busa and a ninja ZX6R, I've ridden the ninja and could prolly pick it up for a decent price.

Actually when I said "Homie G dawg Riderz" i couldn't think of the proper term they called it. Then it just popped into my head, so I came in here to post "RUFF RIDERZ" bitches!

My friend on a liter bike gets waxxed at the track by 600s...ridden by girls :o but  at the same time...

I have kngrsll's old R6 lolz
I've been riding for about 2 years, i suck, but its a shitload of fun!! the feeling you get when you lean just can't be matched.
Problem is to get good, you pretty much have to fall, fall again right??
I'm about to just sell the R6 and xB and get a decent car

Just take it to the track and fall a few times....getting really fast there, is what really counts. How often do you ride?

ya, even getting to the track can be a hassle.
I'd have to trailer the thing there, that alone cost more than the trackday fee, not to mention maintenance, and living 1hr from any decent canyon roads...
AHH, send me back to the south where there are abandoned roads for miles

I learned on a Harley Sportster. :werd:

I have an Honda F4i atm. As long as you don't ride like a fucktard, a 600cc bike would be fine I think. :hs:

I learned and currently ride on my brother's R6. I hardly ever go full throttle and if I do, I'm always a gear down. As long as you have a lot of respect for the bike and know your limits, you can ride any bike.
