Seriously...i'm sure it'll change. But usually I'm like  but now I'm like :run:

Silly off season with these teams not making it, teams being wayy off pace and just general lack of congruency and the UGLY arse cars. There are some plusses though - 4 world champions battiling it out sounds exciting. I hope the cars are good and the racing is good...many sins can be forgiven.

Sebastian Vettel has named his new RB6 Formula One car 'Luscious Liz'.

The 22-year-old German and 2009 championship runner-up called last year's Red Bull 'Kate's Dirty Sister' -- because it was faster and more aggressive than its predecessor 'Kate'.

His 2008 Toro Rosso was called Julie.

Giving his cars a female name, emblazoned on the 'dashboard' of the single seater, is now one of Vettel's several F1-related superstitions.

Vettel religiously steps into his cars and dismounts from the left-hand side, and slides a lucky coin behind the laces of his boot.

"If I could design a superstar, Sebastian would be the result," F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone writes in the latest edition of Auto Bild Motorsport.

"He is exactly what Formula One needs: a young, super-talented driver who is intelligent but not arrogant, popular with the public and good with the media, normal but still very professional," added the 79-year-old.

Liz's Slutty Sister...

Here's hoping he writes off the car in Bahrain just so this is a possibility, as you remember Kate's dirty sister came about after he wrecked Kate.

Villeneuve joins BBC commentary team

By Hugh Podmore Wednesday, March 10th 2010, 17:57 GMT

Jacques Villeneuve is set to join the BBC's Radio 5 Live commentary team for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

The 1997 Formula 1 world champion, who has been disappointed in recent weeks after his plans to return to F1 this year with Stefan GP collapsed when the team was not granted a last-minute 2010 entry, will move into the commentary box for the first race of the season.

The incumbent Radio 5 Live team consists of David Croft and ex-Honda driver Anthony Davidson. Davidson is scheduled to race a Peugeot in the American Le Mans Series opener at Sebring the following weekend, and is expected to begin testing ahead of the event on Monday.

I need Eddie Jordan in my ear even less than I do JV. Luckily I've grown fond of David Hobbs in the last decade. I just wish he would get all the corners right still. LoL.

Luscious Liz is badass. Liz is a name that has cropped up a lot in my life!

BBC announcer: "Well Jacques, how do you think Schumacher will fair after a 3 year lay-off?"

Jacques: "Well, I wrote a song about it, let me just pull out my classical guitar. Wanna hear it? Here it goes."
