we always do general admission. is that bad at the canadian GP?

clint, do we have a place to stay yet, or are doing more urban camping??

i've never been to the CGP

i did general admission once at the USGP and it was ok. just had to get there a bit early to claim a spot on the mounds. i like to be there early to see the support races anyway.

and on the website for the CGP it says there are big-screens to watch the action on. as long as i can see a screen and a bit of track, i'm happy.

In Late - I might be down to go to the CGP, but I would want to do the GA tickets - the stands are too damn expensive....If I go, can any of you homies pick me up and take me to the airport? I fly free... :mamoru:

Damn, GA for 3 days is 100 bucks Canadian...that's not too bad. I did GA for last years USGP, and it was stellar.

Oh yea, if you've got any sort of DUI offense, you're not getting into Canada.

thats just kinda crazy

i have a trespassing conviction from when i was 18. it was a misdemeanor with a fine of like $120 but it sounds like it could still get me excluded. i'm gonna call the border people tomorrow and ask about it.

In the US.

One of my friends has a DUI and he can't go to the CGP because of it.

Whatever you do when going to Canaduh, make sure you tell them you are going there to visit and NOT to work... I had to train a dealer in Canaduh last year, and when I said to the border flunkee what I was going to be doing in the country, they interrogated me for quite some time before they finally let me in...

I have committed no crimes, yet when driving into the US, I have had my car searched several times. Two years ago, when driving to Indianapolis, we were stopped for a "random cheese inspection." I guess the "tough-guy" American border agents don't like minorities visiting their country.

I for one am glad that the border security for visitors coming into Canada has tightened.

They look it up somehow. I know people that got snagged at the border because of it.
