So the new season is about to begin and I wanted to poll to see if people would be interested in upping the ante to make the prize this year bigger. I am not planning on donating a prize this year as I have done so for a few years now. If we go with a free entry then the prize will just be bragging rights.
I was thinking perhaps a $5 per team entry fee, with the winnings split as follows:
1st place - 50%
2nd place - 30%
3rd place 20%
We could go with total score or playoff format (whichever is more popular)
Pick the option in the poll... I'll leave it open for 2 weeks.
Note: I got an email from the site admin, the URL for the site has been updated to http://www.pff1.net

In on this
To elaborate, I like the total score format and think anyone can be involved, the prize goes to the person who did the best and payed an entry fee for the team that did the best of the people who paid.
There should also be an entry fee cutoff date, and fee tied to a specific team just in case you want to try some retarded combo.

I think there should be a team entry limit, no matter what. Two teams per, no one here is Ferrari and their 3rd car idea.

I quite liked the playoff format we used last season, either way Im not too fussed as long as its free.

I'd pay $5 per team and just run two teams likely, but there should be an option for those who don't want to pay, top 3 paying teams?

I'm getting the feeling that a mixed league (max score ranking) would be the best fit. Who would 'pay-to-play' here just so I can gauge if it'd be worth going down that road? If we can't get 10 teams paid ($25/$15/$10 payout) then I don't think its worth it.
I'd throw in 2 teams ($10)
Edit: Should be pretty apparent, but just to be clear... Only pay-to-play would be eligible for end of season prize.
