The Newey cars do look halfway decent. Except for the odd dorsal fin. :eek3:

Did he design the STR3 too? I thought he only did the RBR cars.

I thought so? In spirit anyhow. I can't say that for certain though. :hs:

Edit: Wikipedia says he does design the RB* cars for RBR. I assumed the designs were then "borrowed" by STR. :hs:

That makes sense. If you have a good designer, why not use him for both teams.

Going back and looking at the pictures from last round, RBR has the full dorsal fin, but STR doesn't. Can someone set me straight on this? :hs:

Edit: Wikipedia: "Its latest car, the STR2 is nearly identical to the Red Bull RB3, as both were designed by Adrian Newey."

I guess RBR just gets the newest hotness in designs first?

Probably, they are the "main" team. Also, STR was using last year's car for the previous races this season.

And how many people are going to end up cutting that corner after the pit-lane at the start of the race? :hs:

My guess is Webber. That way his horrible luck continues, and DC has someone else to blame.

At least four.

This season, STR started off with a modified version of last yrs RBR car. But now they're using the "BASE" version of this yrs RBR car. It should be equivalent to the RBR car before the start of the season.

I think the dorsal fin was an addition that came out after the base car was developed.
