Pure drama. Philip Island was edge of the seat racing drama, Sepang was a different type of edge of the seat. Crazy shit.

The race wasn't half bad but it was all down to the weather.

Oh yeah... neat. Lots of safety cars and spin outs and what 13 cars finished?

Speaking of the GP race, on my moto forum, it's up to 88 pages and counting of discussion. At the start of the race it was about 30 pages.

Goddamn - that Sepang race was fucking wicked.  And stupid.

I don't know why VR has decided to let MM rattle his cage so badly.  They were always going to end up running into each other though racing like that against each other.  Rossi rode like a rookie to be honest letting MM get in his head - with as much experience that he has, he should've let MM run off - w/ Rossi in tow and deal with him at the end of the race.  It all started with VR's accusation of MM trying to ruin his race at Phillip Island honestly...I never thought it would boil over like that.  If VR loses his 10th chip because of his penalty, it'll be his fault honestly.

Watching the F1 race right now...Fuck Lewis.  He just shoves NR off in the first turn.

Both were in the wrong... my take
- Rossi gave MM the "wtf are you doing, tag on me and let's catch up" gesture a few laps before
- MM shouldn't have been fighting so hard with a championship contender... Crazy dive bombing passes
- The way MM was riding, you knew he was going to crash sooner or later, hopefully not taking out Rossi
- Someone on another forum pulled up the time sheets, and if MM did have the pace, he wasn't showing it, once Lorenzo got by he was averaging a second a lap slower. He was either intentionally fucking with Rossi, or just riding with pride knowing he couldn't keep up so he was block passing or diving bombing into the turns, either way, he was holding Rossi up.

MM's laps: 2'06.559
2'00.818 (2nd with JL 2'00.606)
2'02.003 (3rd with JL up to 2nd, JL 2'00.894)
2'01.360 (JL 2'00.932)
2'02.107 (JL 2'01.174)
2'01.938 (JL 2'01.335)
[lap with the crash]

Shame.

I'm a bit curious why that little nudge would cause a low side like that.  Seems MM dropped the bike as a flop or was expecting to lean his weight on Vale.  VR shouldn't have lost his cool, but I'm wondering if that little shove was enough to upset the bike into a low side.

Dick face Lorenzo.  The only happy Spanish rider is Dani

The storylines are still going wild - Repsol will pull sponsorship, Rossi not racing...shit's crazy!

What pisses me off the most is how Rossi just let MM troll him into taking action, if anything they should have put the blame on both of them and let it cancel each other out...

I've always liked Rossi, and really liked MM when he was in 125/Moto2 and even his first couple years in MotoGP, but it seems like another semi-recent Spanish champion (Alonso) he doesn't lose very well. While he is quite talented I won't be pulling for him anymore.

I'm hoping next year the Ducati's will be more competitive and Iannone will start getting some wins and maybe even the Championship...

It's annoying that Rossi let MM get to him, but what was the option?  MM was running a second slower purposely fucking with his championship...What do you do then?

I don't like the fact that MM is messing with someone else's championship - that's the second golden rule in racing besides not crashing into your own team-mate.

Both of their actions disappointed me... I'll still cheer for Rossi, and MM has lost some of his shine to me... they both screwed up.

BUT... I've lost all respect for Lorenzo. I didn't cheer for him before, and he was no where near one of my favorite riders, but I did respect his his riding abilities, but not anymore. After going to Race Direction asking for Rossi to be DQ'ed, then giving the thumbs down at the podium ceremony while your team mate is being handed his trophy, then walking off the podium... that's all fucked up and complete lack of respect for your team, team mate, and the fans.

MM & Lorenzo both fall way down the ladder for me in terms of respect...  MM was fucking with someone's championship and JL just acted like a dick and crybaby.  Very much a Prost-like move...

Rossi disappointed me in that he fell for the bait that MM laid out to him.  I think he could've better solved the problems rather then calling MM out and then having MM screw with him all weekend.

Took me 3 or 4 sittings to finally finish the race... I know we all complain about F1 being a parade and stuff, but man, I'm struggling...
