McLaren in possession of Ferrari information again, huh?Supposibly one of my hardcore F1 friends knows a McLaren mechanic, and says it's confirmed that Alonso is confirmed to be going to Ferrari...

hope he doesn't bump kimi.
Why wouldn't he? We already know Massa is a harder worker, and a better #2. :x
Additionally, Kimi seems more interested in Rally Racing than he does in F1 as of late..... this could be why.

Keeping massa is obvious.
But my 2 counter arguments are
a) Kimi already has a WDC
b) Kimi is way fucking cooler.

• Kimi has been runner up or close to being a WC several times, Massa just once...
• Kimi is more consistant if you put a good car under him, rain shine bad tires etc... he'll drive the shit out of a car all the time every time... Massa has his tracks Brazil and Turkey
• Kimi is already brought Ferrari a championship
• Alonso development + Kimi driving, you'll end up with McLaren 2007 part 2...

I won't be surprised when Alonso is announced at Ferrari, but Id like it to be official first D;

...and this is good how? Do you recall Alonso throwing a hissy fit and quitting the team without finishing out his contract?• Alonso development + Kimi driving, you'll end up with McLaren 2007 part 2...
I'm gonna call it now. By the end of this season Felipe will have more points than Kimi.

...and this is good how?
would you prefer to have 2 drivers in a team that can push each other and rackup the points (see MotoGP, Yamaha (Rossi/Lorenzo) or a #1 driver that gets all the points (renault), and a #2 that acts like a #2 (BrawnGP)?

Alonso has shown that prefers and expects to be an outright #1 driver. He couldn't be guaranteed that sort of treatment if he went to Ferrari as long as Kimi was still there.would you prefer to have 2 drivers in a team that can push each other and rackup the points or a #1 driver that gets all the points (renault), and a #2 that acts like a #2 (BrawnGP)?
See MotoGP, Yamaha (Rossi/Lorenzo) vs Ducati (Stoner/Hayden)

Kimi has said he wants to finish his F1 career at Ferrari, so that most likely means Kimi is gone after this year
I don't see him and Emotardo being on the same team without some major fireworks mainly from Emo boi...

I don't think Boobens is really a #2..... yet.....would you prefer to have 2 drivers in a team that can push each other and rackup the points (see MotoGP, Yamaha (Rossi/Lorenzo) or a #1 driver that gets all the points (renault), and a #2 that acts like a #2 (BrawnGP)?

I can understand that while at Renault and his teammate is Fisi/Kovy or McLaren where his team mate was a rookie at the time, but if you're joining a team where they already have a WDC, and Kimi has proven he can beat Alonso in an actual race not by some weather condition or something stupid, then I don't know how he would expect clear #1 status off the bat...Alonso has shown that prefers and expects to be an outright #1 driver. Exactly why they'll keep Massa and not Kimi. More dedicated, less static, and an overall better team player.
I don't think he'll pull over for Jensie quite yet.we're what 8 races in... he's won.... 0

He is the definition of a #2 driver....
He wants to be #1 but does not have a abilities of a #1.

He's shown that he wants equal treatment
Did he throw hissy fits when Trulli was beating him in 04?

The 30-year-old remains under contract to Yamaha for 2010, but amid the FOTA-FIA war, it was rumoured that wherever Ferrari was headed in the near future, Rossi could be part of the plans.
"I am quite happy about it, it could happen in 2011 -- why not?" he is quoted as saying by Italian media.
if we're going to play along with Alonso rumors, lets toss Rossi in for shits and giggles
