Why was schumi crying there? I dont remember
He was asked if him getting 41 wins and tying Ayrton Senna's record meant anything to him. 2000 Italian GP.

I love Anthony Hamilton's comment on the Brasilian fans booing after Lewis had won the championship. Classy
What did he say - I muted that bit

yeah his previous lap was 1:28 but his last lap was 1:48 as the rain had increasedI didn't either. I figured Glock was up too much when it said he was +9 with like a lap to go, and he was in with all the lapped traffic, so i didn't realize that was him.
Apparently his last lap was something like a 1:44 to everyone else's 1:26.

well there's no way anyone at McLolren could have predicted that Glock would be 20s slower on his last lap compared to the penultimate lap, so I think it's safe to say the first quote is the bs onesomebody at mclaren is full of shit...

Hmm... probably not exclusive rights to MotoGP right? I've seen MotoGP on both Eurosport and BBC this yearI just realized, BBC must have a shit ton of money...
BBC bought the right for MotoGP, so we lost the most kick ass commentary team on EuroSport,
BBC bought the right for F1, so ITV lost it's coverage...
that's some big names to be gettings rights too...

F1 grid girl confused by concept of Brazilian visa
November 3rd, 2008 · No Comments
The Spoiler
Canada’s Red Bull girl not allowed into Brazil
dishfihef.jpg
Red Bull’s paddock girls, or Formula Unas to give them their proper name, show up at every grand prix and do a very good job of making the pit lane a prettier place.
At Brazil, the “winning†Formula Una from each grand prix (translation: the hottest local girl at each race) is invited by Red Bull to attend an end-of-season party. All of the Unas made it to Interlagos… except one.
Montreal’s Formula Una - better known as 19-year-old Katrina Lesko - required a visa to be allowed into Brazil. So Red Bull informed her that she should get her paperwork sorted. She duly obliged.
But when Lesko transferred from Montreal to Washington on Wednesday, and was asked to present her visa for Brazil, the immigration officer refused to let her get on the plane to Sao Paulo. Why? It might have something to do with the fact that Lesko pulled out a brand-new Visa credit card.
She never made it to Brazil. True story.

that ITV-F1 video is thats the kinda thing that F1 needs more of! it makes the drivers look tangible!
and to the grid girl story :rolf: bet shes great in bed though
Dawt. F1 needs so much more of that...that's the kinda thing I'd see from MotoGP or even...NASCAR
And hot girls don't always perform like they look. Kinda like that Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione that Jezza reviewed

I can't remember exactly, but it was something along the lines of 'it's quite sad that these fans have to resort to this'. They were booing after Lewis won the championship.
You know the same thing would have happened in England if the roles would have been reversed.

Hamilton fans wins £125,000 on Hamilton's win
03 November 2008
A fan who placed a £100 bet over a decade ago has won £ 125,000 after Lewis Hamilton has won the Formula 1 championship on Sunday. The unnamed punter placed the bet at Ladbrokes after seeing a 13-year-old Hamilton go-karting.
The F1 fan who wishes to remain anonymous placed a bet of £100 at 500-1 that Hamilton would win the F1 championship before his 25th birthday as well as a £50 bet at odds of 1,500-1.
The man who placed the bet on May 13 1998 has a son who used to go-kart against Hamilton in England. He said: "I've known Lewis from his early days and it was easy to see he had an obvious driving ability coupled with a fantastic attitude to racing. I told Lewis' father Anthony and he was shocked and chuffed he wasn't the only one to have faith and confidence in Lewis."

whats even more odd is the current odds for the '09 champion...
.
.
.
Nico Rosberg 100:1
Jenson Button 100:1
.
.
.
Bruno Senna 150:1
.
Timo Glock 150:1
Sebastien Bourdais 250:1
Kazuki Nakajima 500:1
Adrian Sutil 750:1
Giancarlo Fisichella 750:1
bruno, who doesnt even have a f1 seat yet, has better odds than 5 current drivers...
