how did williams go from being a comfortable 3rd in testing to complete suck. so fast.
Small team with lack of resources for testing, so they fall behind quickly

i wonder how much it cost for yamamoto to buy his way into f1 several times considering his record.

Piquet has saved his F1 seat with that result. A complete fluke, but he handled being near the pointy end very well. Didn't fight Hamilton too hard when being passed, but that was more discretion being the better part of valour.
Heidfeld may not qualify as well as Kubica, but he's been delivering better results lately. If he gets qualifying sorted, we may see 2007 repeated...
But, to be honest, the race was looking to be rather dull before Glock's suspension collapsed, he hit the wall and the safety car came out as Hamilton was miles out in front before then.

I turned on fox and it immediately went to a shot of schumacher.
I immediately knew kimi was doomed.
I thought that when I saw him during quali

I'm struggling to find the words to convey the amount of shit I want to talk right now, so I'll save it for the AVs.
haha. I was watching at my usual bar and it's a Ferrari love fest there. And EVERYONE was screaming " YOU SUCK MASSA " but I thought it was hilarious, haha. Great race, LH really has some tenacity - I thought Massa was going to put up a stronger fight than that tho. But LH just shut the door where it was needed, and no more. Nothing unnecessary in his passing. Very cool, altho the LH hate train will continue to grow

team orders
What's the rule on that shit? It's so muddled up now it seems like they made it just to penalise schumi and then everyone else is allowed to do it. Massa and Piquet blocking like amateurs - Massa should have held that shit, it would only have been a matter of time til Hamilton plowed into the back of him. DC running people off the road again, good to see

hamilton goes from 6th to 1st in a mcclaren, and heikki's mcclaren... just drops back a few places from 3rd to 5th?
ouch

team orders
the team didn't make the call, but heikki kinda just rolled over and died immediately (no spine), we would have NEVER seen that had it happened last year.

so black jesus completely schooled heikki on what their car can do

I kinda wonder if Hamilton isn't flattering the McLaren a little like Alonso does with the Renault. I mean, maybe Heikki is really just driving the car's capability and Lewis has been making it faster than it actually is...Food for thought.

team orders
He would have passed him anyway so using that excuse doesn't fly.
Moving Heikki out of the way simply helped Hamilton catch and pass Massa / Piquet a lap or two earlier than when he eventually did. Heikki would not have stood a chance the pace Hamilton was showing.

There have always been team orders in Formula One. Even great drivers such as Fangio - in the 1950s - benefitted from team orders occassionally.
The reason the FIA have 'banned' them is because Ferrari used them with such flagrant disregard in regards to sportsmanship and simple ethics (e.g Austria '02).
As for Massa, his attempts at preventing Hamilton passing were pitiful in the least.

Fucking awful all weekend. The only time he really showed any genuine pace was after the safety car period.

yeah kimi needs to get his shit together
and in the post-race comments he didn't say anything about why massa kicked his ass, just blamed the car

i think the entire team (including the engineers) were blaming the cars. kimi was struggling to find the right setup all weekend and massa was suffering from brake fade for the final stint..yeah kimi needs to get his shit together

Massa knows he can't hold back Hamilton. Never has been able to, ever since their first encounter.
