Aston Martin's looking pretty good. I wonder if Alonso actually timed a team swap right for once

Maybe… but can it be sustained through the season, or will he end up a strong 4-5th? RB/MB/Ferrari have great driver pairings to lead development… AM really have Alonso…

Oh definitely not thinking that Alonso's got a chance of winning the championship, but it does seems like there's a chance Aston Martin might be more competitive than Alpine

Too bad their car is slow as balls, maybe they should have saved the few hundred grams instead.

Jos Verstappen, just pure class eh
Also, surely Perez should have known that Verstappen would have gone for fastest lap nomatter what the team instruction was. I wonder if Perez just messed up his own attempt or genuinely didn't go for it.

Ferrari fail train continues
Sainz was actually doing really well until the last red flag

It would be wild if Massa actually sued the FIA over 2008 https://www.motorspo...t-act/10453434/

the ending of the race / season was nuts… but to find out 15 years later that they should’ve scrapped the race because Nelson’s crash, had evidence, and confessions and did nothing about it…. Kinda shitty.

That's got to be one of the most entertaining qualifying sessions I've ever seen

Alonso was pretty funny, making sure the world knew he COULD have passed Stroll at any point had he wanted to
I'm sure Mercedes wishes they abandoned the zero-pod concept earlier.
