I don't blame Hamilton for giving it a try. Great pass on Verstappen by Rosberg though.

I really feel like 2017 will be Alonso's year.

I think Alonso's best years are behind him unfortunately.

Finally watched the race...I also don't blame Hamilton for trying to back his team-mate into the pack.  I'd probably do the same thing too...honestly, he wouldn't be a racing driver if he didn't have that mentality.

Yeah I don't think there is anything wrong with what he did, too many people are making a big deal out of it.

Likewise not enough people are giving Nico the credit he is due for turning it around after losing it two years in a row and getting rolled really hard last year.

Next year should be good.

He totally deserves it.  LH was off his game from when he won the title last year, allowing Nico to get a full head of steam at the beginning of the year.  Raw talent, sure LH has it.  But Nico definitely deserved this one.

If he had gotten stuck behind Max the entire race and it played out as it did, Rosberg would have possibly lost the chip..  Ballsy pass that needed to happen for him to win it all.

Looks like Manor won't make it onto 2017's grid. That's quite sad.

I should feel bad, but I don't. Virgin, Lotus, Manor, etc etc were all just money grabs, they weren't ever going to be competitive. No real loss except fewer cars on the grid, but it's not like they actually where racing, just making up numbers.

They had sauber beat until the last race. That's not too bad tbh.
