Briatore and Symonds leave Renault F1Team

Renault has announced that it will not dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA concerning the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix and that Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds have left the team.
A brief statement issued this afternoon (Wednesday) reads as follows:
The ING Renault F1 Team will not dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA concerning the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.
It also wishes to state that its managing director, Flavio Briatore and its executive director of engineering, Pat Symonds, have left the team.
Before attending the hearing before the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Paris on 21 September 2009, the team will not make any further

FIA already said Alonso didnt know anything so this wont have any impact, I doubt he will be at Renault next year though even if he doesnt get a Ferrari drive.

Seeeee yaaaaaaa. Cheating ass cheats, Flav/Renault shoulda got slammed the same way Macca did for ripping their designs. Good to know they were brought down by such a little chode as PK jr.

Wow...just wow. I'm at a loss for words...I wondeer what will happen to Renault's F1 team now...good luck getting sponsorship now that ING is out. I have a feeling this will be the last of Renault F1.

Man, this season has been crazy, and for all the WRONG reasons. Can't we just have some good ole' fashion season end driver-change drama, and good racing instead???

Renault is fucked.
FlavFlav will still be with his supermodels and get a fat payout though. Unless he's personally faced with a counter personal lawsuit.
I don't care about PK, but if what he says is true, he has the balls to say it and did a good job.

Mr Briatore's position is perhaps best summed up by the following exerpt from the transcript:
"I never talk with Nelsinho, I never talk about crashing the car, he's never coming to me tell me "Flavio Jesus Christ I crash the car, you won the race, can you renew my contract?" You know if someone do you a favor like that I just renew the contract."
