Doesn't look good for USF1

they say they were on track and on schedule until January 15th when they lost funding or something or other... so everything was peachy until the 15th and then that's when worked stopped... so basically 10-14 days before the other teams started launching their cars and began testing, these guys still didn't have a complete car or an engine or anything.... and this was considered on schedule... it seems like at this rate of work, there was no way they'd be part of any testing or be ready for the first race...

It stinks of bullshit like everything else surrounding USF1 but if they were working on a really tight schedule and only showed up to Barcelona test it might have worked

Well Lotus launched quite late and missed the first test but they are fine.
Lotus was firing the engine in the car in the first week of February...

If USF1 didnt run out of money they could have taken a delivery of engines in those 2-3 weeks from Jan15 to first week of Feb?

the "whatever reason" for the sponsor not paying up: USF1 were never going to have a car on the grid of the first race to display the sponsor's logos

Oh burn!
Am I the only one who thinks the new Campos/whatever car looks better than the Renault? With the added bonus of not having Gargamel racing for them
