oh boy another Merc 1-2 unless one of them retires
only interesting part of this race is that according to Ant this is the most demanding circuit in terms of fuel on the whole calendar
Fred got this, fire kimi etc.

Kimi P6, Fred P10 in quali
It's amazing how fast and easy to drive the Mercs are, they are in a class of their own. Kinda like RedBull for the past few years, except they have 2 fast drivers instead of just a Vettel.

It was interesting to see how all the teams were basically driving together as well, showing that this generation of drivers are really strong and are pretty much driving to the limits of the car itself. Having said that, Malanado is just a fucking idiot.

Also looks like Vettels got Webbers car and all the reliability issues this year. Ric has surprised me. Funny seeing all the teams basically running in pairs.

That was a really good race. The last 10 laps the Mercs were pulling away at roughly 2 seconds per laps. No one has a chance. I'm starting to like the Nico/Hamilton battles as long as they keep it clean and have fun. Once one of them starts bitching on the radio it'll be over.

Oh there will be bitching...this is the WDC on the line after all, but as long as they don't wreck each other, I'm fine with it.

What can he expect when they've given the drivers FI4Ts?Season summed up

It looks like a Ferrari with DRS is only as fast as a Williams/FI without DRS in a straight line. The deficit is pretty bad. Not sure they can claw that back without Montezuma's fist banging at Bernie's desk and a rule change. What can he expect when they've given the drivers FI4Ts?

It's amazing how much they are losing on the straights, they are pretty good in the corners though.
Still nobody can beat Merc this year, even if they are caught they will have built up such a huge buffer it will be impossible to overhaul.
Only hope is that next year everyone catches up and Honda builds a good PU.
Also hope the Nico-Lewis fight is good, so far I think it's been pretty one sided though.

Doesn't matter if they give him 5 or 10 place grid penalty, he is starting DFL either way.Wait, Ricciardo got a 10 place grid penalty for leaving his pitstop when his team told him to, and Maldonado only gets 5???
I'd bet he'll just start from the pit lane

the Mercs are surely fast, but then again they were on fresh rubber right after the safety car, where as the rest of the pack was stuck in behind the Force Indias who were on the two-stop strategy and used tires. That was a really good race. They should make him start from the parking lot.Doesn't matter if they give him 5 or 10 place grid penalty, he is starting DFL either way.
I'd bet he'll just start from the pit lane

I thought they were complaining about traction out of the corners, which would also hinder their straightline speed. It's amazing how much they are losing on the straights, they are pretty good in the corners though.

Traction seems pretty bad as well.
